Champions League winner with Chelsea football club, John Obi Mikel, is undergoing medicals at Middlesbrough after agreeing personal terms with their technical crew on a short-term deal.
The 31 years former Chelsea midfielder left Chinese club Tianjin TEDA recently and is currently a free agent.
